In a similar way to the golf courses, petrol stations offer exciting compositions but with more complications and a graphical element.
I like the idea of an industrial setting and using acidic colours to suggest the toxicity of the scene.
I find water based paints and inks exciting and most suitable for the work I make.
The series of motor racing paintings is the result of my observations of the Grand Prix season of 2006.
